Candle Care
Our candles are made with all natural 100% soy wax. We use a flat cotton wick braided with thin paper filaments interwoven for burn stability. The results of this wick design are a cleaner burn, controlled curling and a hotter, more efficient flame.
We blend our soy wax with high quality fragrance oils. All of our fragrance oils are free of harmful phthalates. All of our 12 Candle Co candles are given a two-week cure time to allow the fragrance oil to evenly spread throughout the wax, ensuring the best scent throw possible.
Each candle is paired with a candle care card for easy reference. You can prolong the life of your candle by showing some extra love & following our candle care guidelines.
TRIM THE WICK
Keep the wick trimmed to 1/4” at all times - for best results, trim before each use. You can use a wick trimmer or just plain ol' scissors to trim the wick.
LET THE WAX POOL
Each time you light your candle, let the candle burn until the wax melts across the entire surface area - this will avoid tunnelling.
CHECK THE TIME
Burn your candle for up to a maximum of four hours at a time.
MAKE GOOD CHOICES
Always burn your candle on a stable and heat-resistant surface, avoid drafts, keep away from children and pets, and never leave your candle unattended.
STORAGE
Keep your candles in a cool + dry location and avoid direct sunlight.
KNOW WHEN TO SAY GOODBYE
When only 1/2” of wax remains in your candle jar, it’s time to say goodbye.
